About Humankind

Humankind PLLC provides trauma-informed clinical and forensic social work services with a focus on thoughtful, individualized care, professional integrity, and practical support for the people and communities we serve.

Why Humankind?

In social work, one of the questions we are often asked is, “What population do you work with?”

For me, the answer has always been simple: the human kind.

Humankind was created from that belief. People are more than diagnoses, circumstances, systems, labels, or the challenges they may be facing. Whether someone is seeking therapy, navigating the justice system, or looking for professional education and support, the work begins with recognizing the person first.

That idea continues to shape the way Humankind approaches clinical, forensic, and educational services—with respect, compassion, curiosity, and an understanding that every person’s story is different.

Our Approach

Humankind approaches each person, family, and situation with the understanding that there is no one-size-fits-all solution. Our work is individualized, collaborative, and grounded in respect for each person’s experiences, strengths, needs, and goals.

Whether providing therapy, forensic social work services, or professional training, we strive to create an environment that is thoughtful, practical, and responsive to the people we serve.
